Are you ready for the BIG ONE? Yes, it is finally here! The biggest wave pool and the first surfing pool in the country opens in Club Manila East to wash your summer blues away. The OceanWaves is the most exciting and most anticipated modern man-made marvel and the first of its kind in the Philippines. The OceanWaves is a three-part gigantic wave pool that holds 2 million gallons of water and is the size of more than ten basketball courts combined.
The first part of the OceanWaves is the DIVING POOL that is fourteen feet deep with a 20-feet high waterfall. The DIVING POOL has four diving platforms for guests to jump from. This section promises to take thrill seekers and adrenaline junkies for a BIG SPLASH.
The second part is the FAMILY WAVES POOL. This section is a 30-meter wide, 76-meter long pool with different wave patterns for the whole family. The FAMILY WAVES POOL is only four feet deep and can accommodate up to 1000 persons. Kids, mommies, and daddies will definitely enjoy the gentle waves around the whole pool.
The third part is the SURFING POOL. Surfers will surely get stoked as they ride their boards and practice their surfing skills in the biggest and most powerful simulated ocean waves in the country reaching up to 1.5 meters high. Water-sports enthusiasts are in for a wild ride when they get into this pool.
Join the launch of the OceanWaves on February 21, 2009, at 2pm and witness the awakening of this giant. There will be games and gimmicks, a surfing exhibition by professional surfers, free surfing trials, fire dancing, musical performances, and an all-night pool party at Club Manila East in Taytay, Rizal.
The OCEANWAVES is another step into the vision of Club Manila East of bringing different water-sports and activities closer to Metro Manila.
