Ode to LUMI

the world's a wilderness
a chaos in distress
thy heart was all but mangled
and torn and lost entangled

the darkness there slumbers
a light that'll conquer
i never thought i'd bother
to see friendship bloom i each other

your silence gives me comfort
your warmth and depth and humor
you welcome my insanity
a friend i trust with thee

strangers though are we
but i cant ask for any
a million thanks will be
for my dear friend LUMI....

You Are Where I Need You

You love me but I don't care.
I seek my own ways, yet You guide me.
I choose my plans, yet You protect me.
I honor my desires, yet You are still there.

You love me stronger than I can resist.
I hate the world, yet You give me hope.
I despise myself, yet You preserve me.
I deserve death, yet You give me life.

Why do you love me Lord?
My name belongs to lowly people.
I have been running from You
Yet You are always beside me.

You keep my sanity
when I am about to give up;
You carry my whole weight
Just when I am about to jump.

You renew my trust in people
And give me a reason to live.
You wipe away my tears
And send angels to my relief.

You watch me day and night,
While I walk or sleep.
Where I am thirsty
You go with drinking water.

You are where I need you
And I am where Your love is.
Why should I ever worry
If You are always beside me?

Nakikita ko ang iyong nakikita
Nadarama ang saya na yung tinatamasa
Kalungkutan panalangin ko sayo'y mawala

Pinagpala't ako'y humihinga
Kahit na ikaw ang aking hangin ay wala
Masaya ako pag masaya ka
Ikaw na nagbigay ng takipsilim saking pag-tingin

Sing lamig ng yebe ang nangyari
Ng basagin ko ang ating pagtitinginan
Sumugal ako at talunan ng lumabas
Di ako nagsisisi at ito ang kinalabasan

Di natin alam kung saan tayo tutungo
Talunan man at buhay pa
Kahit na habangbuhay akong aasa
Tatahimik nalang at maghihintay sayo

I thrived in the warmth within
longing to touch your skin
but this desire I need to pacify
for I dont want to see you cry

your sorrow and your joy
both tempting me to free
my utmost love to you
it's wrong but thoygh it's true

in this bleak world
muffled silence wounds
i rest my case
forever be in daze

for I am just a tear
